Sourceforge Community Choice Awards, Cast your Vote for PHP
SourceForge.net 2009 Community Choice Awards Nominations already started and if you did not voted you still have time to cast your vote for your fav project. The winners will be announced at a party, held at the Agenda Lounge in San Jose, CA, starting at 6:00 pm PT on the night of July 23rd, during the week of OSCON - according to sourceforge press release. This year 8 Projects powered by PHP are finalist : XAMPP, Symfony, phpMyAdmin, Typo3, Flow3, vTiger CRM, OrangeHRM and Joomla Security Scanner.

Best project category
We should win because we help beginners, educators, and everyone else to get into today's most important Internet technologies.
We should win because we fill the gap between the Open-Source world and what the enterprise needs in PHP.
Best new project category
We should win because our passionate developers created a framework which suggests a new, clean and intuitive way of development a large part of the PHP community has been waiting for.
Best Tool or utility for SysAdmins
XAMPP is listed again here in addition to the best php mysql administration tool : phpmyAdmin.
We should win because of the numerous testimonials we get from our community.
Best Utility for developers
XAMPP, phpMyAdmin and symfony are listed again in this category, in addition to Joomla Security Scanner. I voted here for Notedpad++ because it's my fav and faster PHP editor under windows.
We should win because 1) Joomla! is widely used, 2) new security holes are discovered almost monthly, and 3) there is still no dedicated security scanner for it.
Best project for the Enterprise
Symfony is listed again here. There are also many other interesting open source projects, the PHP ones are vtiger, the PHP-based CRM, Typo3 CMS, and OrangeHRM.
We should win because we have a true open source platform, and our clients love our product enough to put us in the top of SourceForge downloads in the CRM space over the last 4 years.
We should win because TYPO3 perfectly fullfills its two mottos "Enabling people to communicate" for the software and "Inspiring people to share" for the community.
We should win because our 5000 + community members have solved their Human Resource Manage issues by using OrangeHRM.
