PHP Eats Rails for Breakfast

Ohloh have a very interesting article on the dominance of PHP against others open source frameworks and scripting languages. Ohloh have indexed about a database of 3,000 projects and 220 million lines of source code, and measured the total amount of activity in a given language over time. I have no doubt about the results found, because everybody know that PHP is the most scripting language, but it's interesting to notice also in the results that active developers in Perl are decreasing considerably since 2001 and the number of new projects is the highest for Ruby !
