Pro PHP-GTK Book Available

PHP-GTK started in the beginning as a challenge to show that PHP could be used to develop desktop application also, and it's interesting to see that the results was successful and the project is taking more and more advanced level especially now by supporting GTK2. At this time the community is in real need of a reference book such Pro PHP-GTK, but also a hands-on tutorial to the PHP-GTK extension.

The book couples the extension's key topics with practical examples to guide you through a real-world project: developing a database-driven client-side inventory manager. You will also learn how to integrate this feature with other emerging technologies like SOAP and RSS, and how to generate XML-based interfaces. About 400 pages published by Apress, the author Scott Mattocks has been working with PHP and PHP-GTK for almost his entire career, so it's interesting to learn PHP-GTK from an expert user. I'll be waiting to get the book to see more inside it !
